What are the documents required for loan approval?
  • Aadhaar Card / Voter ID / Driving License / Passport
  • PAN number (only number required, card not required)

I have multiple bank accounts. Which bank statement should I upload?
  • In case you are a salaried employee, please provide the bank statement for the account in which your salary gets credited
  • In case you are self-employed, please provide the bank statement of any of your active accounts wherein you have the maximum transactions, and the balance is stable / maintained
If I do not possess a PAN card / number, can I still avail loan from Unofin?
Sadly, we need your PAN Card number to process the loan request. You are required to hold a valid PAN card number to complete our application process.
If I do not possess a Aadhar card and have never applied for it, can I still avail loan from Unofin?
You can submit your Driving License / Passport / Voter ID in place of Aadhaar card and still avail a loan from Unofin.

I am unable to get the OTP for E-sign on my phone. What could be the possible reason?
  • If you opt for ‘E-sign using Mobile OTP’, the OTP will be sent to the same mobile number with which you have registered with us. The OTP is delivered by your network operator and network issues can prevent you from receiving the OTP. In case of any issues in receipt of OTP, restart your phone and try again. Or else, you can try after some time.
  • If you opt for ‘E-sign using Aadhaar’, the first OTP will be sent to the same mobile number with which you have registered with us. The OTP is delivered by your network operator and network issues can prevent you from receiving the OTP. In case of any issues in receipt of OTP, restart your phone and try again. Or else, you can try after some time. The second OTP will be sent to the contact number that is linked to your Aadhaar. In case you don’t have ready access to the same, you may find it at the UIDAI website. The OTP would also be delivered to the E-mail ID linked to your Aadhaar. My loan application was not approved, what is the reason?
There may be multiple reasons for the loan application not getting approved including but not limited to parameter of our lending partners, poor credit score, geographical limitations etc. Whatever be the reason, we will inform you in case your application could not be approved.
Why am I not eligible for a credit limit of a higher amount when the maximum limit as per Uno is ₹5 Lacs?

Why do you need my bank statements?
Bank statements are required only for high ticket loans. Bank statements are required for proof of income.
Why do you need to verify my bank account?
Bank account verification takes place at the time of loan disbursal. This is required to ensure that the auto-debit of EMIs can take place smoothly.
Why should I sign the loan agreement?
The loan agreement is a legally binding agreement and states terms of the loan availed by you along with the repayment schedule. E-signing of the loan agreement is mandatory for availing the loan.
Are there any hidden fees that you charge?
No there are no hidden charges. All our charges are transparent and communicated upfront.
Can I apply for a loan for treatment of a family member?
Yes. The credit limit can be utilised for your own treatment as well as the treatment of any family member (spouse, children, siblings and parents).
Do I need to be employed to be able to apply for credit limit with Unofin?
Yes, it is mandatory to have a regular source of income (either salary or income from self-employment) to be able to avail a loan from Unofin.
How is my credit score connected to the loan that I avail from Unofin?
Once you take a loan from Unofin and repay it timely, your credit score improves. This helps you avail a bigger loan at a later stage from a bank or any other financial institution and you will get it at a lower interest rate. However, if you don’t repay the loan on time or default on the same, then your credit score will go down and it becomes nearly impossible to avail a loan from a bank due to your poor repayment history. Even if a loan is approved, the interest rate that will be charged will be considerably higher.
How do I check the status of my existing loan?

How can I repay my loan?
Your loan EMIs are debited from your bank account basis the NACH you provide. We also support payments via Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI, Paytm wallet, bank transfer and cash payment at select ICICI Bank branches.
Can I repay the loan before the due date?
Yes, you can repay your loan anytime before the due date with no additional prepayment charges.
What is the repayment date of my loan?
Repayment date is between the 5th and 10th day of the month. The repayments will continue for the loan tenure selected by you at the time of availing the loan. You will be able to view all the terms of the loan including the repayment date at the time of selecting the loan scheme of your choice.
What is the interest charged on loans that I avail from Unofin?
Interest rates start at 0%* for the loans availed from Unofin. You will be able to view all the terms of the loan including the interest charged at the time of selecting the loan scheme of your choice.
What is the processing fee charged on the loans taken?
Processing fees varies for loans availed at different providers and for different loan durations. You will be able to view all the terms of the loan including the processing fees at the time of selecting the loan scheme of your choice.
Do you have a cash payment option?
Yes, we do have a cash payment option. You can pay the EMIs by visiting any nearby ICICI bank branch.
What happens if I do not repay on time?
Penal charges will be applied for everyday the loan remains overdue. Your Credit score will be updated as a defaulter with credit rating agencies (CIBIL, CRIF High Mark, Experian etc.) which will make it difficult for you to take loans with any bank or financial institution in the future. Companies also check an individual's credit score and may not offer you employment if your credit score is bad.
Can I reschedule or postpone my EMI date?
No, Unofin does not provide the option to reschedule or postpone the EMI date.
How do I get a confirmation for the repayment I make?
You will get notified via SMS, email and Whatsapp confirming the payment of every EMI. A loan closure certificate confirming the closure of your loan will be issued once all the EMI repayments have been made.
What are the penalty charges for auto-debit?
We will Auto Debit your account on your loan Due date or the next working day in case of a holiday. If sufficient balance is not maintained in your bank account and Auto Debit fails, then your Bank may levy a penalty for which Unofin will not be liable. This may vary from Bank to Bank. Further Unofin will also levy a Penalty of ₹650 for any auto-debit bounce which has to be paid along with any other late payment charges.
Are there any late payment charges?
We levy overdue charges @ 2% p.m. on the unpaid installments / balance outstanding.
Why is down payment necessary? Can I get loan with 0% down payment?
A down payment is an indication of your commitment towards repaying the loan. We do offer loans with 0% down payment but they entail a higher processing fee.
Once I pay all my monthly instalments/EMIs, how do I get a confirmation on loan closure?
We will issue a Loan Closure Certificate once all EMI payments have been received post 15 days of the last EMI payment.
I have made payment twice for a single transaction. What do I do?
We will adjust the additional payment made (if any) in your next EMI due. In case you make the payment twice for the last EMI due, we will issue a refund within a week for any additional amount paid by you. Can I apply for two or more loans simultaneously?
Yes, you can avail more than one loan at a time from Unofin. Any new loan will only be issued if your last 3 payments

Can I change my loan terms?
Once a loan is disbursed, the loan terms such as loan amount and repayment date cannot be changed.
